Letter from Recruitment Chair

Dear Potential New Members,

Congratulations on your decision to participate in formal recruitment! 

Greek life at KU is such a great opportunity to meet so many wonderful 

people and to form bonds that will carry on even after your time at the 

university has finished.

Here at the Beta Kappa chapter of Delta Gamma, our members foster high 

ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a 

true sense of social responsibility and develop the best qualities of 

character. We strive for excellence in everything we do, and we live by our 

chapter’s motto to "Do Good", each and every day.

In 1936, Delta Gamma created Service for Sight, a national philanthropy 

benefiting one of our own sisters who suffered from visual impairments. 

Since then, Delta Gammas have worked tirelessly to bring awareness and 

much-needed funding to schools for children and adults who are blind and 

visually impaired. Throughout the school year, Delta Gamma chapters 

across the nation will raise money for Service for Sight through a variety of 

fundraisers, such as Anchor Splash and Anchor Slam. We at Beta Kappa 

proudly put on both events, as protecting the gift of sight is one of our 

highest priorities.

We look forward to meeting you in the fall and to gaining so many more 

wonderful women whose bonds will last a lifetime.

http://www.kcpanhel.com. *Delta Gamma does not require potential new 

members to submit letters of recommendation during the recruitment 

process.*

 

Formal recruitment is just around the corner so if you know a potential new 

member who is participating in Recruitment 2018 at KU, please submit a 

sponsorship form or letter of recommendation to the Beta Kappa chapter of 

Delta Gamma, before August 1.
